I bet you do! You can just keep your little whip cream squirt cans at home! You won't be needing them this weekend. You might want to bring your running sneakers. I know I can out run you!!!!

Re:May 3-4 Jumping - 2008/05/01 16:25Kerry my friend, I too have a turbo boost connected to the chassis of my ass!! I'll have to see what my freefall rate is when I get back in the sky. I believe I'll be in the air the 10th and 11th (I hope). I'm guessing I'll be 90% by then. See ya all soon!!
Oh and Twiggy...I can catch you runningDNR

Re:May 3-4 Jumping - 2008/05/01 21:53Hey there DNR, can't wait to see you again. Get well fast!!!!Forget the Politics, Support Skydiving!!!!
Sorry for the edit; I wanted to make sure everyone knew the Beech was coming home!
As many of you know, the Sweet Beech was offline last weekend while we waited for a ten-foot long piece that DHL misrouted to Canada and then Ohio. The saga of the part continued this week as DHL officially declared the part "lost." The good news is that we were able to locate another part in Kansas City, so I picked it up first thing yesterday morning and dropped it off with Dave Salaz.
While I was down at his shop, I got to admire all of the other stuff he's done to the Beech, and she looks great! I can't wait to show you everything he's done.
In addition to having our beloved Beech back, this weekend is Cinco de Mayo, and we're celebrating in style. I'll be making fajitas and margaritas (and punch for you non-drinkers) on Saturday night, and be sure not to miss the Saturday-night Sombrero Swoop-n-Chug with free jumps as prizes. I can't wait!
Just wanted to let everyone know that dinner and the party tonight is a go rain or shine. I've spent the past 24 hours cooking (beef fajitas, chicken for Mark Cook, steak for Joe Jackson, three kinds of homemade salsa, two kinds of homemade guacamole, margaritas, lime punch, and all the trimmings...), so I'm definitely ready for a margarita.
Oh, and the weatherman says it's gonna clear up this afternoon, so let's home for some awesome skydiving too!
