hello - 2008/10/14 18:10 Hi,just wanted to first say hello and second I'm new to the board and really need some help with some questions I have. I got a gift card for christmas and was wanting to go and jump but I can't get a hold of no one from the st.louis skydiving center. I was also wondering if I could pay the differance and instead of jumping tandum jump by myself? If anyone can help me that would be great. Thanks in advance Donnie

Doing the A.F.F. instead of a tandem is not a problem. You can just pay the difference between the two.

So have you made any jumps at this place up in Bowling Green before? I can't wait to try this its got to be the biggest rush ever.

Re:hello - 2008/10/16 18:45 I have over 2,800 jumps. (300 plus at Bowling Green) It is an awesome sport. You will love the rush. The last I heard, the Drop Zone is working on leasing another airplane. At this time they do NOT have one. If you ride up there on Sunday, you will find the place closed and nobody there. Most of the jumpers are jumping at other Drop Zones right now, waiting for Bowling Green to re-open. It has been hard getting any information on what is exactly going on. I am sure we will know sometime in the future. As of right now it is unknown of the status of the D.Z. I called the phone on Monday and the message stated they would be open again on Oct. 15. Did not happen. If anybody else has any info, PLEASE let us know!!!!!!! Thanks.....

Re:hello - 2008/10/18 13:31 Yeah I was gonna tell you all I got a call from Mark, man I am so bumbed I was going to try to jump on the 26th cause my birthday is the 23rd. Well I hope it gets straighted out soon. And I wanted to say thanks a lot for the call Mark and I'll keep in touch.
