Ending the year 2008.... - 2008/11/29 22:34
Greetings from the GOON SQUAD and yours truly, CAL-MO-DEE!
Hope this finds you all happy, healthy, and wiser as we wind down the year and head into Christmas 2008, the most joyous time of all. As you read this, Turkey day has come and gone and I hope you had a good one..., that's how we get line stretch..!! But we know that December 25th is the best holiday of the year and its almost here! God created Christmas for CAL-MO-DEE and all the other children of the world..., and I encourage you to enjoy it..!
It seems to be "up in the air" as to what the new year will bring for us as skydivers and friends, but such is life. If you share the same love for skydiving that I have, you will find a way to continue, I'm sure of it. Rest assured, the GOON SQUAD certainly will --so look for us, we will be around.
I want to thank you all for the awesome times we have shared as parachutist and relative workers, and I know there will be more.., that's who we are and what we do! We have a bond that will guarantee our meeting somewhere, --sometime, --sooner or later and I look forward to it.
And finally.., I am indeed a lucky man to have met you all. Thirty plus years of skydiving has allowed me to make the acquaintances of the most awesome people in the world...that's YOU!
Wishing you the happiest of the holidays and the most prosperous 2009...keep your gear current and your attitude positive.., I'll be looking for you.
