Safety Day Recap - 2007/03/13 17:02
WHAT'S UP????? I don't know about you guys, but this was a really great weekend for me. I got to do a little bit of a few different things, and all in all I thought it was quite succesful for our dropzone. I hope it is just a small indication of what the upcoming season holds for us.
I know I'll think of more, but here's a start of the things I'm grateful for from this weekend (please add to the list):
- weather, it was absolutely beautiful - friends, yep it's cool you guys were there too. - freeflying, felt good to get out there and cut loose - coaching, it's always fun to share the things you love about our sport with others. - seeing Jose tryin' 270 hooks (easy there killer) - listening to the goons rip on everyone - seeing Parrella getting choked up knowing he's still loved - watching pretty girls get hit on by stinky dudes (this always amuses me) - getting tandem rating current again - 4 o'clock in the morning 4-wheelin' expedition (Hella muddy) - covering Kelly the next morning since he was too drunk to stand (I'm grateful after the fact, but I was cussing that morning). Felt good to be the guy helping. - doing a memorial BASE for my buddy Robert cook. - gettin' dizzy in a Horney Gorrilla with Cindy and Mark - Catching those Beautiful DZ sunsets
